Georgina Herrera
The jewelry that empowers each woman to shine.
Georgina Jewelry is an independent jewelry line created by Kansas City-based designer, Georgina Herrera. Georgina was born in Mexico and moved to the United States with her family. She founded Georgina Jewelry in 2010. Georgina says “the connection between love, art, and tradition is unbreakable and determines who we are.” Her designs are a fusion of fashion trends with her culture and tradition. This gives Georgina a unique and authentic brand with a fresh, modern, yet classic design that truly reflects her passions.
Georgina believes in empowering women to be their most confident selves with her line. She is inspired
by the character, strength, and determination of the modern woman. Each piece in the collection is designed to create a unique statement whether it be in the office or at a gala. There is a piece for every woman and every occasion.
Georgina Jewelry has been featured on the runways at Miami Swim Week and at Paris and New York Fashion Week. Her pieces are stunning, breathtaking and memorable -- wearable works of art that will have everyone watching the woman wearing. In her Bloom collection, Herrera’s floral symbol continues to evolve from her previous collections. This year, as women have evolved through their collective voices, Georgina’s flower has matured. Herrera describes how “The petals represent true awakening in each pendant and brooch. You can actually see each petal lift off the petal before it to a 3D-like image. Growing in unison, each piece is a statement of a love of life and the beauty of nature, and showcases that as we grow our mind we will value and care for the beauty around us .” The designs are a true testament to the blooming change within the modern woman.
Herrera’s collections include a mix of metals and textures. Each piece is made in 0.925 sterling silver and either maintaining that silver finish or plated in 18k gold. The quality cannot be matched. All of Georgina’s pieces are designed in the United States and produced in Mexico. Georgina oversees each step of the process to ensure each piece is of the highest quality and impeccable finishing. Georgina Jewelry can be found in the Flying Solo showroom
n New York City, and their flagship showroom in Kansas City by appointment only. The design team consists of Georgina Herrera as the lead designer, and design assistants who specialize in all facets of the jewelry industry to ensure each piece is of the highest quality.

Sylva & Cie
Leader of The New Jewels.
Sylva Yepremian is an artisan jewelry designer with more than twenty years of experience creating and manufacturing unique pieces for the discerning client. Developing at least one new piece of jewelry every day, fine jewelry designer Sylva Yepremian creates stunning, one-of-a-kind designs in which each piece starts as a simple rough sketch. Sylva’s passion for jewelry began at a young age and grew into what is now the globally-recognized fine jewelry house, Sylva & Cie.
Born in Lebanon and raised in Paris, at the age of sixteen, Sylva and her family moved to Los Angeles to run the family’s jewelry business. While Sylva always had an interest in the Fine Arts, she completed her baccalaureate studies in Languages. That said, Sylva’s father, Jirair worked in production for various prominent jewelry houses in Europe including Cartier Paris, and it was he who really inspired her as a child. Under his skilled tutelage Sylva received the proper training at the craftsman’s bench.
It was with this exposure and familial support that gave Sylva the confidence to launch her own brand. In 2007, Sylva Yepremian established the atelier Sylva & Cie in the heart of Los Angeles’ downtown jewelry district, creating contemporary collections in which no two pieces are alike, as each is completely and meticulously hand wrought with the utmost care and attention to detail.
An avid collector of antique jewelry, Sylva is continuously inspired by the art and design developed in previous decades. The Art Deco period in particular is a significant source of inspiration for her contemporary jewelry collection, but she is also enamored of the style and art created within the Georgian and Victorian eras.
Sylva draws from the past when designing, yet her collection embodies a modern edge that appeals to the sophisticated customer. She is able to strike the perfect balance within each composition – alluding to old world prestige along with an innovative and fresh approach to design.
Sylva’s collection is designed with a variety of precious stones and metals. She is infatuated with the richness of color found in rubies and emeralds, and the amazing dimension of rose cut diamonds. She also incorporates other materials such as fossilized mammoth, ancient coins, hand carved opal, jade, and brilliant citrine; Sylva pairs these rare finds with 18KT gold to create an impactful, yet harmonious design.
With just four collections made each year, Sylva’s jewelry has a timeless appeal that transcends trends and seasons. The collection has developed a cult following including Hollywood’s biggest celebrities such as, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Katy Perry, and Kate Bosworth. Sylva & Cie collections are available at select retailers nationwide including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Mitchells, Neiman Marcus and Stanley Korshak, amongst others.

The Pink Star: One Of The World's Great Natural Treasures
553,037,500HKD
Meticulously cut by Steinmetz Diamonds over a period of nearly two years - a process in which the 132.50 carat rough was cast in epoxy more than 50 times in order to create models upon which the design team could experiment with different cuts -it was transformed into this spectacular 59.60 carat, fancy vivid pink, internally flawless oval cut gem – the largest internally flawless or flawless, fancy vivid pink diamond that the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has ever graded.
The diamond was first unveiled to the public in May 2003 as the ‘Steinmetz Pink’, and was modelled by Helena Christensen at a dedicated event thrown to coincide with the Monaco Grand Prix. Writing in the Financial Times on the 31 May 2003, Mike Duff described the diamond as “the rarest, finest, most precious stone the world has ever seen”. The stone was first sold in 2007 and was subsequently renamed “The Pink Star”. In the same article, Tom Moses, Executive Vice President and Chief Laboratory and Research Officer of the GIA, is quoted as saying: “it’s our experience that large polished pink diamonds – over ten carats – very rarely occur with an intense colour… The GIA Laboratory has been issuing grading reports for 50 years and this is the largest pink diamond with this depth of colour [vivid pink] that we have ever characterised”.
Of all fancy coloured pink diamonds, those graded ‘Fancy Vivid’ are the most precious and desirable. The current world auction record for a pink diamond is the Graff Pink, a superb 24.78 carat diamond which sold at Sotheby's Geneva in November 2010 for US$46.16 million. Weighing in at 59.60 carats and graded as Fancy Vivid, the Pink Star is twice the size.
In the summer of 2003, this amazing gem was exhibited at 'The Splendor of Diamonds' exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. Displayed in the Winston Gallery alongside the 45.52 carat blue Hope Diamond, the exhibition featured seven of the world’s rarest and most extraordinary diamonds. Also on view for the first time in the United States was the 203.04 carat De Beers Millennium Star, one of the largest diamonds in the world; the Heart of Eternity blue diamond; the Moussaieff Red, the largest known red diamond in the world; the Harry Winston Pumpkin Diamond; the Allnatt, one of the world’s largest yellow diamonds at 101.29 carats; and the Ocean Dream, the world’s largest naturally occurring blue-green diamond.
Commenting at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Jeffrey Post, curator of the Gems and Minerals Collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History said, “Each of the diamonds is the finest of its kind and together with the museum’s gem collection makes for an exhibit of truly historic proportions”. In the three months the exhibition ran, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History attracted more than 1.6 million visitors.
From July through November 2005, The Pink Star again took centre stage, this time at the 'Diamonds' exhibition held at the Natural History Museum, in London. “This exhibition will bring together many of the most impressive single stones in the world, fascinating science, and insights into the diamond industry to tell the story of diamonds from deep in the Earth to the red carpet,” said Michael Dixon, director of the Natural History Museum. For five months, the dazzling exhibition attracted approximately 70,000 visitors a day.
