EVERYONE’S FAVORITE VIRAL SENSATION “ WORM QUEEN”
Kim Rogers, known online as “Worm Queen”, is turning her personal struggles with chronic illness into a thriving community that advocates for self-healing, patient advocacy and reclaiming personal health. In 2021, Kim teamed up with business partner Erica Mixon to launch a product line - Rogershood Apothecary. Based on Kim’s self-healing journey, the company has sold more than 150,000 of their cleansing kits, tinctures and binders annually.Something that started as a healing journey has now turned into an empire that benefits everyone.
A Journey to Answers
The entrepreneurship journey is a deeply personal one for Kim. After spending her career in Western Medicine, running 25 healthcare colleges, working as a professor, authoring medical books, serving on medical advisory boards and writing national certification tests, Kim’s life took a dramatic turn in 2019 when her own health began to deteriorate. Despite numerous consultations, surgeries, and a stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis, she was left without answers or long-term relief. By 2020, after her 13th surgery with a total of nine lost organs, Kim decided to walk away from Western Medicine and take her health into her own hands.
Kim began to research holistic guidelines, mediation, psychedelics and Eastern Medicine and came to the realization that she had parasites - cryptosporidium parvum, roundworm, flukes and pinworms - specifically. Finally with answers she’d long been searching for, Kim took a cleanse to address the issue and saw her health dramatically improve. With a new lease on life, her mission became to help others by sharing her knowledge and developing the products that provided much needed relief after years of closed doors.
“People don’t think parasites exist here, but they do. We’ve been taught that these issues only happen ‘somewhere else,’ and that mindset is hurting people. I’ve lived through it. That’s why seeing so many people learning about natural holistic medicine and taking control of their own healing— is so emotional for me. It means the community is collectively sharing knowledge to usher in the future of care,” said Kim.
The Building of a Self-Healing Empire
As Kim’s health improved, she began to share her story on Tik Tok, where she was crowned the “Worm Queen”, during a live session on the platform. Kim connected with Erica Mixon, an avid member of the self-healing community herself. The duo got to work developing the company’s Parafy - Parasite Cleanse Kit. From humble beginnings in Mixon’s 175 sq ft shop behind her house to now operating out of a 10,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, the company has sold more than 150,000 of their cleansing kits since 2021. RogersHood makes all their own products, 3rd party tested, safe for children over the age of 3, gluten-free, ship worldwide and include nut-free option.
The overwhelming embrace of the product line has been deeply meaningful to Kim, who understands firsthand the limitations of the Western medical lens—especially in the U.S., where the presence of parasites and environmental toxins is often overlooked or outright dismissed.
“There’s a lot of discussion surrounding the idea of self-healing—and I’m proud to be part of that movement. But what we’re building isn’t just awareness, it’s a solution. A movement gets people talking. A solution gives them tools, direction, and hope. We’re not just raising our voices—we’re giving people a real way to take control of their health.”
Expanded Product Line for Lymph Health
Kim’s mission is clear: to empower individuals to become their own health advocates. She’s here for the chronically ill, the misunderstood, and anyone ready to join the self-healing revolution.
RogersHood Apothecary’s line-up of fan-favorite products include the ParaFy parasite cleanse kit, a Heavy Metal detox kit and Moldeze detoxification. In 2025, the company will introduce a new wellness product the LymF Kit.
Launching in May 2025, the product supports lymphatic drainage and overall wellness, further bridging the gap between symptom relief and root cause healing. She hopes the expanded product line and RogersHood Apothecary free resources - ebooks, cookbooks, guides and more - will help even more women and men tackle their toughest health challenges.
“If I had found this cleanse sooner, I might have avoided a hysterectomy,” Kim says. “I am excited to be a part of the community that is building the future of holistic medicine to give women and men a chance to heal naturally.”
As RogersHood Apothecary continues to grow, so does the movement behind it—a movement fueled by truth, transparency, and the belief that healing is possible. From small beginnings to a global brand, Kim Rogers is proving that no matter how overlooked or misunderstood your health journey may be, you can turn pain into purpose—and build something powerful along the way.
